Munoz vs Carneiro added to UFC®184

After several months on the sidelines, Mark Munoz will return to the Octagon to face Carneiro at the upcoming UFC 184: “Weidman vs. Belfort” pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Feb. 28, 2015 inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
UFC Tonight confirmed the booking on Wednesday.
Munoz (13-5) was squashed by Chris Weidman in July 2012, before storming back to capture a unanimous decision win over Tim Boetsch. Unfortunately, “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” couldn’t parlay his “Barbarian” win into a run for the middleweight title, and was instead finished by Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi in consecutive fights.
