EA Sports and The Ultimate Fighting Championship have joined forces to make the next set of UFC console games. Unfortunately, this isn’t EA’s first run at an MMA video game. There was an incident that took place on October 19th called, EA Sports MMA. The game didn’t do as well as expected and EA Sports shut down their online services for the game in April of this year. Lets hope they keep that behind a them and make the current franchise better than it already is. Here are a couple of things that Dana White had to say during the announcement.
“We’d like to thank THQ for creating some of the most critically acclaimed sports video games of this console generation, and we’re excited to enter a new relationship with EA that will help us deepen our connection with fighting fans around the world,” said UFC President Dana White. “There’s no one better at creating authentic sports video games than EA SPORTS, and we’re excited to have a partner who shares our vision of deep, connected and multi-platform global game experiences.”
