Sonnen vs Shogun, Main Event @ UFC on FOX Sports 1
He we go again…. Chael Sonnen has talked his way into another fight. This time against Shogun, at UFC on FOX Sports 1. Chael has lost his 3 (title fights) of his last 5 fights, and now he’s been gifted the main event at UFC on FOX Sports 1. Looks like marketing and PPV buys are becoming the focus of the MMA, and Chael Sonnen is proving it. Hopefully Shogun will force Chael to make it more than drawn out ‘lay and pray’ bout.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may have been unable to book Chael Sonnen vs. Mauricio Rua for UFC 161, however, the match up has come to fruition and it will serve as the main event of the UFC on FOX Sports 1 debut event in Boston, Mass., on Aug. 17, 2013.
Sonnen himself announced the five-round light heavyweight match up on Tuesday’s (June 4, 2013) edition of FUEL TV’s “UFC Tonight.”
