Pat Healy losses bonus’ after failed drug test, SON awarded to Brian Caraway

Dana White took to twitter, informing us Pat Healy will not receive his not one, but TWO $65,000 bonuses for FON and SON at UFC 159.  Why you ask? Positive for marijuana metabolites strike again!  Although there is no hope for Pats bonus’, hopefully this issue gets resolved for future fighters.  We all know that Marijuana Metabolites shouldn’t be illegal, there not the same thing as actually being intoxicated during the fight.

However, congrats to Brian Caraway for being the new recipient of the SON bonus.  No argument that he earned it with his submission over of Johnny Bedford with just 16 seconds left in the fight.

@_royy it’s known up front that checks are held until everyone passes the drug test. Brian Caraway get the SON now. Healy did himself dirty.
