Daniel Cormier Wins HW Grand Prix: Results

A very impressive victory for Cormier on Saturday night.   The StrikeForce HW Grand Prix is finally finished and Daniel Cormier is the Winner.  As if winning the Grand Prix wasn’t good enough, he beat Josh Barnett to do it!  Barnett is a beast, and the fact Cormier was able to shut him down where ever the went is extremely impressive.  Both suffered broken right hands in the 1st round but didn’t stop either of them from throwing BOMBS the entire fight.  The fight ended in a decision, but doesn’t take away anything about the fight.  It was a fast paced, stand up brawl. Below are the results for the entire card.  Now Cormier will get a shot in the UFC against a mystery opponent.
